The new issue of the bookshop chain is full of ads.
In the section for ‘Books for adults’ there are several, including one featuring an advertisement for a book for $12.99 that says: ‘Buy a book, read it, and get a coupon to save up to $12’.
The advert also includes a quote from a book author, who says that books are ‘more than just a book’: ‘Books are a way of life.
And in the digital age, that life can be as rich as your favourite novel.’
Another advert offers an ad for a ‘new and exclusive book’.
It says: We are so excited to introduce you to the book you’ve been looking for.
It’s called “The Art of Not Getting It”.
This book has been written by a renowned writer, and the cover is a real homage to his book.
It will sell for $24.99 at The Bookseller store.
But there is one catch.
You can only buy the book once.
This ad has been seen by a total of 6,000 people, but there are still some left who haven’t seen it yet.
The booksellers said they had no way of stopping it.
‘It’s a problem’ The bookshop owner said she did not have a clue about how many people had seen it.
She said she had been reading about the problem online, but didn’t realise how widespread it was.
‘We’ve never had that many complaints,’ she said.
‘People are really concerned, and it’s a bit of a problem.’
One customer said she thought the advertisement was ‘a bit of an over-the-top thing’.
‘But I don’t think it’s really that important for them to see it,’ she told News24.
Another said: ‘I’m a pretty casual reader, I’m not an audiophile.
I don, and I think it is just a bit cheesy.’
A bookseller added: ‘We’re not looking for people to feel bad about their books, but we also don’t want them to feel embarrassed or worried about their book.’
A third customer said that she had seen people reading the book and thinking that they would get a better deal, but she didn’t buy it.
But that wasn’t the case.
She didn’t have to pay the full price, and she was able to save $10.
And she said she would never buy a book again.
